Hockey NS Announces Hosts of 2023 Atlantic Championship Events

DARTMOUTH, N.S. – Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce the respective hosts of the two Atlantic hockey championships that will be held in the province next spring.

The 2023 U18 Female AAA Atlantic Hockey Championship will take place at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre in Membertou, N.S. from March 30 to April 2, 2023. The event will be hosted by the Maritime Major U18 Female Hockey League’s Cape Breton Lynx.

The 2023 U13 Female AAA Atlantic Hockey Championship is also coming to Nova Scotia next year. The first-ever U13 Female AAA Atlantic tournament will be held at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury, N.S. from March 30 to April 2, 2023. The Quad County U13 AAA Whitecaps will host the event.

These tournaments will see the top players and teams in their respective age divisions from across the region vie for Atlantic titles. The events will feature the provincial championship-winning teams from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfound and Labrador, and Nova Scotia, as well as the host clubs.

“Cape Breton has a well-earned reputation for providing great hospitality and hosting world-class events,” said Leijsa Wilton, Hockey Nova Scotia Female Council Chair. “We look forward to working with the tournament host committees in Membertou and Port Hawkesbury to ensure that we offer the best experience possible for these players and their families.”
